Dr. Griffin is the CEO of Emerald Coast Dental Sleep Medicine, which she founded in 2011 to provide oral appliance therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
According to Dr. Griffin’s website, she specializes in providing patients with “whole body health solutions to treat sleep breathing disorders, TMD disorders, and head and neck pain with oral appliances, DNA and mRNA Appliances ™, laser treatment, personalized medicine, nutrition and supplementation.”
This goal of her treatments is to take a whole-body approach is, according to Dr. Griffin, about increasing the longevity of her patients’ lives. Restoring oral health is vital to living well.
Dr. Griffin became a dentist, she says, because she believed she could change people’s lives by helping them look and feel their best. She is a member of the American Dental Association, (ADA) Northwest District Dental Association, Bay County Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Women’s Dental Association, and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also a member of the Junior League of Panama City, Bay Point Women’s Club, and the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce.
In 2010, Dr. Griffin was nominated Business Woman of the Year by Emerald Ladies Journal and in 2012 she was awarded Small Business Person of the Year by Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Griffin has published two medical abstracts in two national sleep journals. In publications, she tackled the topic of using oral appliances to resolve Obstructive Sleep Apnea in adults.
In 2013, Dr. Griffin received her Board Certification by the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also certified as a worldwide instructor for DNA Appliances™ for BioModeling Solutions.
